![]() I recently came back from a short vacation visiting my sister in another state and it reignited my desire to find a passion and some way of supporting myself. I've tried temp agencies as well, but the only opportunities I've been offered were temporary factory labor. I've only had a few interviews for jobs in my field and they have all been through the help of my family and family friends. It has been 3 years since graduation and I'm still stuck at a grocery store part time and though I've gotten raises in my wage, minimum wage has increased to the point where I'm being paid at that level. I graduated from college in 2013 with two associates degrees with the intent of finding a job in accounting while I decided what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Instead of transferring to another college I decided to go for an associates degree in Accounting at the college, thinking I would be able to get a job after graduation. ![]() After my two years there, I still hadn't found an interest that I felt I could major in. I then decided to go to a community college to do an associate of arts program from which I could transfer to another college. After graduating I decided my college of choice was too expensive even after loans and financial aid, I would have owed $9,000 a year. Here's a little bit of background information about myself.
